FAQs

Can I charge my iPhone with Clicks?

Yes. You can still charge your iPhone with Clicks as normal via the Lightning or USB-C port at the bottom of the keyboard. Clicks for iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone models that use the Lightning connector, support standard charging, Clicks for iPhone 15 Pro, and models that use the USB-C connector, support fast charging.

Clicks is also compatible with wireless chargers, so you can charge your iPhone through the back of Clicks as you normally would.

Does Clicks support MagSafe?

Clicks for iPhone 15 is not a Made for MagSafe accessory. In our testing, we have found that the iPhone will still connect to many MagSafe wireless chargers. However, other MagSafe accessories may not work as expected. We are considering a Made for MagSafe version of Clicks in the future.

What customers have done is add a MagSafe ring to 15-series Clicks.

Can I use wired CarPlay and transfer data with Clicks?

This depends on your iPhone model.

Clicks for the iPhone 14 Pro (and models that use Apple’s lightning connector) support both charging and data, meaning that while Clicks is on your iPhone you can use CarPlay or transfer data on your Mac via the lightning connector.

Clicks for iPhone 15 Pro (and models that use USB-C) only support fast charging while Clicks is on your iPhone. At this time, the USB-C connector will not allow for both Clicks to be connected to the iPhone and allow for data and charging. This means using wired CarPlay or transfer data will require you to remove your iPhone from Clicks. Listening to music via Bluetooth and connecting to CarPlay wirelessly will still work with Clicks installed.

Will Clicks be available in QWERTZ, AZERTY, Arabic and other layouts?

You can now order the AZERTY/QWERTZ keyboards on our website.

Set your country to Germany, Switzerland, or Austria for the QWERTZ option to show up, and set your country to France for the AZERTY option to show up.

In regards to languages and layouts, we are aiming to support additional keyboard layouts based on demand.

This review was created on my iPhone with clicks and the tools available to proof my text. --- There’s always been a gap between what I can easily do on my phone and what requires my laptop. **Clicks** has significantly narrowed that gap. Tasks I used to avoid on my phone—like juggling multiple apps, working with spreadsheets, or doing in-depth research with detailed document annotations—are now much easier. Clicks has reduced my frustrations by removing the on-screen keyboard that often blocked important parts of my work. It expanded my screen space, making my phone much more efficient. The clicks keyboard is a wonderful item, it really is. I enjoyed working with it for a few days, however, there are some cons that I think need to be worked on. First, let me say that it was wonderful to use an actual tactile keyboard once again, and the shortcuts make using the keyboard very easy if you can get used to them. A couple of things that I think need to be worked on; I know it’s not marketed as a phone case, but it really does not give the phone much protection if it should happen to fall. I did not like the fact that I could not use my plug in ear pods and that I could not use CarPlay with a cord. CarPlay works fine with Bluetooth, but on long trips, you cant plug it in which means you would have to take it out of the case, which can be a little annoying and cumbersome. Also, I think it could be a little bit more weighted on the bottom because it seems a bit top-heavy since it’s so long and slender. If these cons ever get worked out with clicks, I would absolutely, 100% purchase another one for my iPhone 15.
