FAQs

Can I charge my iPhone with Clicks?

Yes. You can still charge your iPhone with Clicks as normal via the Lightning or USB-C port at the bottom of the keyboard. Clicks for iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone models that use the Lightning connector, support standard charging, Clicks for iPhone 15 Pro, and models that use the USB-C connector, support fast charging.

Clicks is also compatible with wireless chargers, so you can charge your iPhone through the back of Clicks as you normally would.

Does Clicks support MagSafe?

Clicks for iPhone 15 is not a Made for MagSafe accessory. In our testing, we have found that the iPhone will still connect to many MagSafe wireless chargers. However, other MagSafe accessories may not work as expected. We are considering a Made for MagSafe version of Clicks in the future.

What customers have done is add a MagSafe ring to 15-series Clicks.

Can I use wired CarPlay and transfer data with Clicks?

This depends on your iPhone model.

Clicks for the iPhone 14 Pro (and models that use Apple’s lightning connector) support both charging and data, meaning that while Clicks is on your iPhone you can use CarPlay or transfer data on your Mac via the lightning connector.

Clicks for iPhone 15 Pro (and models that use USB-C) only support fast charging while Clicks is on your iPhone. At this time, the USB-C connector will not allow for both Clicks to be connected to the iPhone and allow for data and charging. This means using wired CarPlay or transfer data will require you to remove your iPhone from Clicks. Listening to music via Bluetooth and connecting to CarPlay wirelessly will still work with Clicks installed.

Will Clicks be available in QWERTZ, AZERTY, Arabic and other layouts?

You can now order the AZERTY/QWERTZ keyboards on our website.

Set your country to Germany, Switzerland, or Austria for the QWERTZ option to show up, and set your country to France for the AZERTY option to show up.

In regards to languages and layouts, we are aiming to support additional keyboard layouts based on demand.

I finally feel free again When BlackBerry ceased to exist as a phone, my world fell apart. I just couldn't pull myself together anymore. Now that the iPhone keyboard has appeared, I have regained hope that organization will reign again in the world.

I would largely recommend the clicks keyboard case. I've had a pretty good experience with it and most of the issues I've had are either a direct result of it's size, or issues that I'm not sure the Clicks team can resolve themselves. First, the good. I am not a content creator, but I do a lot of remote system admin work and I got Clicks with the hope that it would be easier for me to use remote tools like iSH Shell, write structured text files or use remote code editors in a pinch. For this, it works exactly as advertised. I get more screen real estate and easier access to keyboard shortcuts I'd otherwise expect. Now the cons, starting with size. It's not like I'd want a smaller keyboard, so it's hard to truly take this as a fault but it's so long that most magsafe chargers I use with it don't work ideally. It's either long enough that it can't sit on a desk floating charger, too heavy and falls off on my car one, or can't quite fit in the space provided. Usually I just take it out of the case for this. Second, since I'm mostly using it for remote system admin and lite-coding, the keys that have been included are not ideally suited for me. A dedicated tab and ctrl key would be useful, not either/or. Ctrl is used in many keyboard CLI shortcuts to exit, tab used for many text formats that depend on formatting. That and I'd love dedicated arrow keys, but I don't know what, if anything, I'd trade for that keyboard real estate. But in both cases, I doubt "remote cli work" is a common use case for Clicks and the key's I need are not commonly used in any other workflows so hard to see why they would cater to me. If they produced a unique case for system admin, cool, but doubt the market is big enough for it. Otherwise, glad I got the keyboard and I'd likely buy another when I upgrade phones. If I had 1 feature request, I'd love it if there was a way to easily surface keyboard commands that are otherwise hidden in 3rd party apps. I have no idea if this is possible programmatically in iOS, it's likely not, but I love finding out that my favorite apps already support useful shortcuts so I can get the most out of my case.

It has the Blackberry Feel. The key pad is good. The key board is battery draining. The Key board often delay while changing apps.

I thought it was gonna be easy like learning to ride a bike again. I was wrong, but it takes a little more time to get used to physical keyboards again.
